Before joining Diamond Generating Corporation in March 2024, Naoki Shibuya's professional journey included several key positions. He served as the Deputy General Manager of Legal at Mitsubishi Corporation in Tokyo from 2021 to 2024. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2021, he took on the responsibilities of General Manager of Legal and Compliance at Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas) in New York. His earlier positions include the role of General Manager of Legal at Mitsubishi Corporation China in Beijing between 2010 and 2012, and General Manager of Legal at Mitsubishi Corporation (Shanghai) in Shanghai from 2007 to 2010.
